Rhamell Stevenson, LMFT, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Robert's House of Restoration, a healing-centered nonprofit committed to helping young people move beyond survival and into lives defined by connection, purpose, and possibility.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist, Rhamell has dedicated his career to serving individuals navigating complex trauma, systemic inequities, substance use, justice involvement, housing instability, and mental health challenges. His clinical work has centered on meeting people where they are while helping them reconnect with themselves through compassion, nervous system regulation, and authentic human connection.

Robert's House of Restoration was born from a simple but powerful belief: every young person deserves spaces where healing is expected—not exceptional. While the organization currently serves transitional age youth, its long-term vision is to expand healing-centered services for LGBTQ+ communities, justice-impacted individuals returning home, and historically marginalized Black communities. The organization recognizes that these populations often experience overlapping barriers created by trauma, discrimination, poverty, and systems that were not designed with their well-being at the center.

Rhamell believes that lasting change happens when communities invest in both people and their potential. His leadership is grounded in a healing-centered approach that integrates evidence-informed clinical practice with somatic awareness, mindfulness, community connection, and cultural humility. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" his work begins with the question, "What happened to you, and what strengths can we build upon together?"

Throughout his career, Rhamell has worked alongside youth, families, and adults experiencing significant life transitions. These experiences have strengthened his commitment to creating programs that are culturally responsive, affirming, and accessible—particularly for young adults navigating adulthood without adequate support systems.

His long-term vision extends beyond direct services. He is building Robert's House of Restoration into a community-based organization that will provide behavioral health services, mentorship, workforce development, reentry support, family strengthening, and, ultimately, healing-centered spaces where individuals can rebuild their lives with dignity and belonging.

Rhamell is especially passionate about ensuring that Black youth, LGBTQ+ young adults, and individuals returning from incarceration have access to environments where they are not merely accepted but fully seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.

He believes healing is both deeply personal and profoundly communal. Through Robert's House of Restoration, he is working to create a future where every young person has the opportunity to breathe, belong, heal, and lead.
